Apply now to take your game changer to the next level with the Kenneth Myer Innovation Fellowships!
The Kenneth Myer Innovation Fellowships aim to support breakthrough solutions to Australia’s most pressing social and environmental challenges. This Fellowship offers recipients a unique 12-month opportunity to focus on early-stage projects that show some promise of achieving positive societal and environmental outcomes.
Who are Fellows?
The Kenneth Myer Innovation Fellowships have empowered 33 individuals to pursue their game changing projects in the past ten years including:
- 2016 Fellow Anna Rose's work to build a national movement of farmers taking climate action through establishing Farmers for Climate Action
- 2020 Fellow David Pearson's Australian Alliance to End Homelessness supporting collaborative efforts to systemically end homelessness
- 2024 Fellow Dr Naba Alfayadh's Rahma Health, a global charity that supports Arabic speaking families to enjoy the magic of the first five years of a child's life.
Fellows have the opportunity to develop personally and professionally to best position themselves to drive real change, all while building connections with a diverse cohort of changemakers.
“The Fellowship took SunTenants from a passion project to my sole focus to a service acquired by a large solar monitoring company and policy directions integrated into multiple state government programs."
- Björn Sturmberg, SunTenants founder, 2017 Fellow.
“The impact of the Fellowships is hard to quantify. The freedom to give your idea wings, a community who has your back, amazing mentors and finances to step outside the daily grind to try to make change for the better.”
- Rebecca Scott, Eazilee founder and CEO, 2023 Fellow.
